Video: Our Story – Why Our Volunteers Choose To Support OTS
Volunteer to be a Financial Counselor
We assist our homeless clients in building a budget to determine how much rent they can afford. This is done over the phone and internet from the privacy of your own home (you don’t meet clients in person) and can be done according to your schedule. Email us at email@example.com to get started.
Volunteer to Move Furniture
We are always looking to grow our team of Moving Volunteers. Over 60% of the people we help are single mothers and their children, and they desperately need furniture and volunteers to bring it to them. You can help as little or as much as you want based on your availability. If you can lift one end of a couch, you are qualified. We have our own warehouse and truck – you just need to show up!
Students – this is a great way to earn community service hours! One move provides a minimum of 2 hours of credit.
Retirees – can you spare a few hours a month? Find a friend (or we’ll match you up with another volunteer) and experience the joy of helping others right here in our community.
Community and Church Life Groups – looking for small projects to engage and help the community? OTS has several volunteer opportunities every month.

Volunteer to Run a Household Goods Drive (perfect for teens!)
Planning and running a Household Goods Drive (like pots & pans, microwaves, etc.) for OTS is actually very easy and it really helps our homeless clients get a fresh start when they move into their rentals. Read the instructions below and email us at email@example.com when you want to get started.
